We launched in 2003, helping to solve some of the technology challenges of startups and entrepreneurs. We are looking for Marketing Coordinator to fine tune our brand and messaging.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Marketing Cooardinator with writing skills to improve branding and messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Create and drive all marketing initiatives and strategy
- Plan and create website copy and contents
- Work with web developers and designers to improve the website messages
- Help lead generation activities
- Develop and refine marketing materials (t-shirts, brochures , banners)
- Define and execute the social media strategy
- Coordinate logistics for conferences, leadership forums, and other events
- Develop and execute outreach and follow-up campaigns for events
- Review product messaging
Skills and Experience:
- 1+ years of marketing experience
- Excellent Writing skills which includes ability to explain technical topics in simplified language
- Ability to communicate well internally, as well as with outside vendors and clients
- Familiarity with Chicago startup community is a plus
We are looking for somebody who can work 20 hours week to start in our Deerfield office. Full time position down the road is an option.
